Dr. Faisal graduated from the prestigious King’s College London Dental Institute in 2014. Since then, he has served at the National Dental Centre Singapore and Tan Tock Seng Hospital. During his time in the restructured hospitals, he underwent clinical rotations in the departments of Advanced General Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Prosthodontics and Geriatric and Special Needs Dentistry. At the same time, Dr Faisal also served as a dental administrator in the Ministry of Health, working under the Office of the Chief Dental Officer. His job scope was to assist the Chief Dental Officer to formulate dental related policies for Singapore. Following that, Dr Faisal has been in private practice since 2017.

Dr Faisal has spent his time honing his skills in routine and advanced dental procedures such as root canals, crowns, bridges, wisdom teeth surgery, dental implants, and orthodontics. He constantly strives to achieve clinical excellence for all his patients, and regularly attends lectures and workshops conducted by world experts to keep abreast with his dental knowledge. Dr Faisal has attended the Progressive Clinical Orthodontics course conducted by lecturers from the University of New York (NYU). Currently, he is attending a comprehensive orthodontics course by the world-renowned orthodontist, Dr Derek Mahony.

Apart from clinical knowledge, Dr Faisal also adopts digital technology in his clinical work to achieve consistent and quality clinical outcomes for his patients. He does this through the use of digital intraoral scanners, digital photography, and cone-beam CTs for the planning of complex cases.

Dr Faisal has a particularly strong interest in public health, where he believes reducing dental disease experience in a community plays an important role in the social mobility of an individual. With this in mind, all his treatments are tailored to the individual needs of the patient, with the goal of restoring function and confidence to be better able to climb the social ladder in society.

Dr Faisal is a passionate community activist, serving as the chairman for the Health and Wellness Committee in Kaki Bukit under the People’s Association. He also sits on the Program Advisory Committee for English Language (PACE) under the Info-communications Media Development Authority Singapore (IMDA). Dr Faisal is married with 2 children, and his hobbies include music and traveling.
